Sweet Pixie Nail Policies
In order to protect all clients, nail services will not be provided to anyone with nail fungus or similar transmittable bacteria or disease, cuts or broken skin. This is in compliance with York Region’s personal services guidelines. Please see your doctor for treatment.
 
Booking Fee: A $50 non-refundable booking fee is required at time of appointment booking on sweetpixienails.ca to secure my time for your appointment. Please indicate colour preference or special/custom designs at checkout in order for me to be prepared in advance of your appointment. The balance of your service is payable at the time of your appointment by cash, PayPal, or e-transfer to Pam@sweetpixienails.ca Please ensure you come to your appointment on time & prepared to pay the balance.
 
Nail Assessment: Each client must text 289-200-2762 me a picture of your nail for assessment 48 hours before each appointment. This allows me to identify any nail/skin issues in compliance with York Region guidelines, and allows you enough time to cancel your appointment without loosing the $50 booking fee and for me to fill your spot. Your booking fee will be refunded in the event I determine the service cannot be provided. Pictures provided for design reference are used only as inspiration for the design I will create.
 
Client Profile: All clients are required to create a client account on sweetpixienails.ca and complete a short list of questions about the health of your nails & skin and any health issues that may affect your nail service. This is to ensure you receive the best possible care during your appointment, and the health and safety of all clients. You must update this information if there are changes to your health that affects your nail service and related to regional guidlines. ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED IS PROTECTED and will not be shared. Client profiles are used by clients to book appointments, pay for bookings, request nail design and colour, and purchase products. A record of each service with pictures, receipt & payment details, notes of nail/skin conditions before and after service, will be added by me and can be viewed by client.
 
Cancellations/Late/Missed Appointments:
  • 48 hour cancellation via your online profile is required.
  • If you cancel your appointment 48 hours before the appointment time, the booking fee will be automatically refunded. This allows me time to fill your cancelled spot.
  • A 15 minutes grace period is allowed for appointments. Please text me at 289-200-2762 to let me know you will be no more than 15 minutes late. Nail art may be adjusted to fit the remainder of your appointment time.
  • More than 15 minutes late, no show, or notifications less than 48 hours results in automatic missed appointment which means that your $50 non-refundable booking fee is automatically used towards payment of my time that was held specifically for you. I understand that life happens and occasionally can’t be controlled. If this occasionally happens, please reach out to me and we will make an arrangement to apply the booking fee to your next appointment.
  • 3 missed appointments requires full non-refundable advance payment for all future services via PayPal or e-transfer. 

 

General Info: This is a home based business, for reasons of safety and limited space, we provide women’s nail services, and are unable to allow children and guests to accompany clients for their appointments. Please note this is not an accessible facility.
