The face behind sweet pixie nails

You asked! So here I am, Pam. I’m the face behind Sweet Pixie Nails.
I’ve had a few people message me wanting to know more about me. Soooo here it is…

I have the Lord in my heart along with my wonderful son and family. My son is amazing, incredably smart and wise. He is my inspiration.

I have unbelievably wonderful, supportive, & loving parents, two awesome sisters and their families who always have my back, and a large extended family of aunts/uncles/cousins and friends.

I started my nail education in College 2009 thinking I would start a business. But it just wasn’t the right time…I needed to focus on being a parent.

I spent the next ten years working a full-time job that I didn’t enjoy, & toying with the idea of a nail career. I tried a lot of different products, searching for a product that I felt confident was safe & healthy to use on my clients, and slowly buying furniture for my start-up..

In that time, I prayed a lot and found my way along side the Lord and my family…what a gift.

I practiced my craft a lot on myself, family and friends, while keeping myself trained and current on personal services health legislation/requirements. Finally, I found Light Elegance Products and completed their LE University training, achieving their Bachelor’s Degree. How exciting that was to achieve, and to join the LE Family!

After facing some personal life challenges in 2018 & 2019, I finally decided in January 2020 to get my business license and start my journey as a part-time nail artist and business owner. But as bad luck would have it…the month I received my business license, Covid-19 hit full force.

Over the year 2020, amidst so much world hardships, I was blessed and thankful to maintain good health for me and my family. I pray for those struggling and those who have lost loved ones to Covid-19, that they can stay strong, remember fond memories, and believe that we are blessed & things will get better.

With a need to keep looking forward on my nail journey, I found social media, a lot of awesome fellow nail artists, industry partners, the Le Family, and now I’m on my way to finding my happy one day at a time.

I’m trusting in the Lord, and searching for business opportunities that will take me in the direction I’m meant to go. I feel blessed and thankful to have everyone that I do.

The journey continues…

Blessing to you all,
Pam
